MHA SWIM LESSONS
Welcome to Mid-Hudson Aquatics Swim Lessons!

The summer session will end Monday, August 31/2026. The fall/ winter lessons are going to start Friday September 11!
Fall / winter Session – September 2026 to 2nd week of February 2027
Due to pool availability, during this session, we will continue with the current class schedule on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Swim lessons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays will be offered again around the 2nd week in February.
Registration Process
After finding the appropriate class for your child, you will be prompted to create an account during enrollment. This account will become your parent portal for managing schedules and payments.
If a class is full, you can still register to be placed on the waiting list. We’ll notify you immediately once a spot becomes available. 🏊♀️
MHA – Class Levels
- Beginner Cannot swim unassisted or can only swim a very short distance. Focus is on water safety and basic skills.
- Intermediate Swims unassisted doggy paddle, can tread water, is comfortable with face in the water, and can swim on their back.
- Advanced Swims unassisted front crawl (freestyle) and back crawl for 25 yards; can tread water confidently.
Tuition & Fees
Monthly tuition for most classes is $130.00. Tuition is automatically prorated for any scheduled closed days and may be higher in months that contain an extra class.
A sibling discount will be applied for each additional child per billing cycle, please note that the siblig discount will be prorated depending on the number of classes scheduled during each month. When 4 classes are scheduled/ billed: The Second Sibling will Receive a $10.00 discount. Third and Each Additional Sibling: Receive a $15.00discount.
Location & Schedule
All lessons are held at the Vassar College pool, 28 Sunset Lake Drive, Poughkeepsie, NY 12604. During fall and winter, we will have classes on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Special Note Regarding Saturday Classes
If you are interested on Saturday classes, please make sure this schedule works for you. Due to pool availability, our rental time is moved to later start for some Saturdays. For parents selecting Saturday classes, we will try to schedule a make-up class or credit or prorate the tuition if swimmers need to skip the class when we are scheduled at later time, as long parents will notify us in advance or before the tuition charge is posted. Usually, we post tuition the 2nd or the 3rd of every month.
