MHA – Swim Lessons Cancellation/Sick Policy:
Mid Hudson Aquatics is proud to be a unique swim program that prioritizes the learning and well-being of every child. We initially established our make-up policy with the sincere intention of supporting families facing unexpected absences due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
Unfortunately, the practical implementation of this policy has presented significant challenges, particularly with frequent last-minute absences impacting class sizes and staffing. Therefore, with careful consideration and effective April 18, 2025, we will be implementing a revised make-up policy. Regrettably, we will no longer be able to offer make-up classes or refunds for absences where notification is not received at least one week prior to the scheduled class. Day-of absences will not be eligible for make-ups or refunds. We recognize that missing a class can be unavoidable, and this decision was not made lightly. The operational integrity of Mid Hudson Aquatics depends on the consistent participation that allows us to adequately staff each class with qualified instructors, coaches, and lifeguards, and maintain our facility. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring the continued success of our program.
